The all-in-one RFID reader UR40 is ideal for the rough conditions that are predominant in warehouse environments, due to its ruggedness. Thanks to expansion antennas, that can easily be connected to the reader, the reading area can be configurated according to the individual needs on site. Its outstanding reading performance of 700 read RFID tags per second * round off its profile.

Rugged
The UR40 RFID reader is sealed to IP65 for use in demanding and outdoor locations. It is also UL61010 certified. Due to its die-cast aluminium case, which allows for better heat dissipation, the UR40 is able to operate reliably and continuously, even at high temperatures.

High Scanning Performance
With 700 RFID tags per second * the UR40 RFID reader from DENSO WAVE belongs to fastest reader in the industry. The ability to select the linear or circular polarized antenna via software allows longs reading distance and better RF isolation of neighbouring readers. Up to three extra antennas can be added, allowing different portal configurations to be made.

High connectivity
The UR40 RFID reader supports Ethernet, USB and RS-232C interfaces. GPIOs (general purpose inputs and outputs) for the connection to sensors and lights are also available. The UR40 is also supported by ORiN IoT platform for easy integration into Smart Factory solutions.
